General terms KiCo B&B

Welcome to KiCo B&B. With the conclusion of a reservation, these general terms and conditions become effective.

Definitions:

Owner: Lily and Pascal

Manager: replacement in the absence of the owner

Guest: main guest and fellow guests staying in the Bed & Breakfast

General

1. The lead guest must be 18 years of age or older, is responsible for his or her fellow guests, must have a permanent place of residence and have a valid identity document with him.

2. The prices of the rooms are listed on www.kicobandb.com. Prices include VAT, breakfast, two towels, two bathrobes (depending on the room chosen), beds made, water, electricity and final cleaning.

3. Unfortunately, our Bed & Breakfast is not suitable for dogs, children, people in wheelchairs/who have difficulty walking.

4. Our rooms can accommodate a maximum occupancy of two people.

5. We want our guests to have a carefree stay. However, we bear no responsibility for loss, theft, accidents, personal injury, medical expenses or damage to property caused by personal negligence or by circumstances beyond our control.

6. Of course we expect our guests to report any damage or loss to us. Any fees will be charged.

7. KiCo B&B is not liable for malfunctions in and around the accommodation such as failure of power, wifi, water supplies and technical installations.

8. We expect our guests to follow instructions from the owner or manager.

9. The owner or manager may, in the event of violation of these General Terms and Conditions and in the event of inappropriate behavior, deny and/or refuse guests access to KiCo B&B with immediate effect, without further notice and explanation of reasons and without refund of the accommodation costs.

10. The owner's administration is decisive in the event of a mutual disagreement, unless the guest can prove otherwise.

11. We expect guests of KiCo B&B to adhere to the house facts and the general terms and conditions.

12. Bachelor parties are NOT allowed! This accommodation is not suitable for this.


Reservation and payment

1. The rental agreement can be entered into by telephone, by e-mail, via our website or via external booking channels.

2. Upon receipt of a reservation request, KiCo B&B will send a confirmation (subject to availability of the room).

3. The reservation is final upon receipt of the deposit. The deposit is 50% of the total amount.

4. The deposit must be paid within 7 calendar days after receipt of the confirmation.

5. If the deposit is not received in time, the reservation request will be cancelled. The guest will be notified by email.

6. For reservations with arrival within one week, the deposit must be paid immediately.

7. The remaining outstanding amount must be paid one week before arrival.

Cancellation

1. In the event of cancellation of the reservation, the following conditions apply:

- In case of cancellation 2 weeks or earlier before the arrival date; No cancellation fees.

- In case of cancellation from 14 days to 8 days before the arrival date; 50% cancellation fee.

- In case of cancellation of 7 days or less before the arrival date or in case of no-show; 100% cancellation fee.

2. Only after the opinion of the owner or manager (for example in case of emergencies) can the cancellation conditions be deviated from.

3. To be eligible for a refund, the cancellation must be communicated directly to the owner by email or telephone.

4. After consultation, the agreed amount will be transferred within two weeks.

5. No refund will be made in the event of early departure.

6. KiCo B&B can only terminate the reservation agreement in the event of force majeure, natural disaster, extraordinary weather conditions, fire, death of the owners or family, hospitalization or unannounced sale.

7. In one of these cases, the owner or manager will offer the guest an alternative as soon as possible.

8. If no alternative is possible or the guest does not accept the alternative offered, the full amount will be refunded. Any other costs resulting from the termination will not be reimbursed by the owner.

10. We recommend taking out travel and/or cancellation insurance.

Arrival and departure

1. On the day of arrival, the room is available from 16:00 and check-in is possible until 20:00.

2. It is appreciated if we get the expected arrival time in advance.

3. Different arrival times than mentioned above are only possible in consultation.

4. In connection with the cleaning of the rooms, it is necessary to leave them before 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure.

Complaints

1. Of course we do our utmost to offer our guests a carefree and unforgettable stay. If, despite our good care, there is a complaint, we would like to hear about it on the spot so that we can solve it immediately.
